We had been searching for years for the perfect home; from Oregon to Denver, Wisconsin to New Hampshire -- never imagining we would end up in the small town of Vinton, Virginia. I don't remember the exact day but I remember where I was (I'll spare you those details), scrolling through my Facebook feed, I came across this beauty in all her glory on "For The Love of Old Homes". She was one of the featured homes that day. After reading her story, I just knew this was the place where we would start our next chapter and perhaps the final chapters of 'Our Story'.
There is a peace within these walls, a calm vibration, a resting place.
Our Someday Farms started as a dream, a ‘Someday’. We always knew we wanted land to have animals, saving them was just a bonus. We have realized that dream by creating a space where small paws and hoofs grow!
Since starting this grand adventure we have found that the very pieces of us that were broken are slowly beginning to mend. We believe that Our Someday Farms is not only a safe haven for animals but a place where the human soul begins to heal.
